Bob Pierce: Shot, Blown Up, STILL Fighting for The 22

Purple Heart Veteran Bob Pierce: Shot, Blown Up, and Fighting for 22

Description:

Bob Pierce enlisted in 1983 and never looked back. From Panama to Desert Storm, Somalia to Afghanistan—he served in nearly every conflict across two decades. He was shot in the chest outside Kabul and kept fighting. He survived a massive IED blast in 2011 that left him with a severe TBI and forced his medical retirement.

But Bob’s war didn’t end there.

Now, he fights for the 22 veterans a day lost to suicide. He takes brothers and sisters into the woods, into the blind, and reminds them that there’s still a reason to wake up.

In this interview:

  • The 36 hours of Ozzy Osbourne blasting at a presidential palace in Panama
  • Taking a round in the chest and refusing medevac
  • The IED that ended his career but not his mission
  • Why “embrace the suck” is more than just a saying
  • A powerful message on the Pursuit of Happiness and loving this country

Big Lesson:
“Our Constitution says, ‘in pursuit of happiness.’ Why can’t we go back to that and just be happy? Be happy that we’re here. Be happy that we have the freedoms we do.”

If you or a veteran you know is struggling:

Call 988. Reach out to the VFW, American Legion, or groups like Warrior Bonfire Project and Wounded Warriors in Action. You are not alone.
