It has come to our attention that individuals claiming to represent a group called the “Van of Valor” are distributing leaflets asking for donated items to be picked up.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: THIS IS NOT US.
We are the legitimate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring our nation’s heroes by telling the stories of Purple Heart recipients and Gold Star families.
We do not solicit door-to-door donations, nor do we operate a “Van of Valor” for pickups. Any leaflets you receive claiming otherwise are fraudulent and are in no way affiliated with our organization or our mission.
If you receive one of these leaflets, please do not donate. If you have questions about how to legitimately support our work, please contact us directly through our official website or verified social media channels.
