Van of Valor Returns to ‘American Warrior Radio’ for Nationwide Broadcast Highlighting Milestones of Combat Veteran Mission

NORTH PORT, Florida — One year after launching an unprecedented, grueling trek across the United States, Dr. Kevin Wallace (Retired Senior Master Sergeant, Purple Heart, and Bronze Star with Valor recipient) and anthropologist Lauren Wallace are returning to the national airwaves. 

Following an exclusive interview with host Ben Buehler-Garcia today, the Van of Valor mission will be featured next weekend in a special, nationwide broadcast across the American Warrior Radio syndication network.

When the Wallaces first appeared on the show in early 2025, they were just pulling out of the driveway in a 300,000-mile FedEx van. 

Since then, the couple has driven an astonishing 27,116 miles through the lower 48 states and up to the remote Angle Inlet of Minnesota, documenting and recording first-hand stories from 317 Purple Heart recipients, Prisoners of War, and Gold Star families. Their critical preservation work has since been researched at Harvard University and is slated for archival preservation in the Library of Congress.

In this powerful follow-up interview, Dr. Wallace and Lauren share raw, deeply personal accounts from the highway of remembrance.
